Nick Fyhrie (pronounced Fury) is a Los Angeles-based visual artist who graduated with a MFA in Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts in New York and a BFA from UCLA in addition to completing artist residencies in New York and Paris. His practice is rooted in the tradition of painting where he employs a unique gestural style that combines natural, surreal, psychological, and urban elements based on everyday observations and imagined narratives.
You can find Nick currently leading tours as a volunteer docent for the general public at the J. Paul Getty Museum, Getty Center in Los Angeles and as a Museum Educator for school groups and the general public at the Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena.
Nick is currently seeking Gallery representation both nationally & internationally. His latest independent project, Just One Wall (JOW) combines his professional experience in Interior Design with his arts education.
