In an interview from October of 2012 with Shaun Cole, professor at the London College of Fashion, I spoke critically and candidly about my perception of gay men's fashion in New York. I was pleased to participate in Shaun's research for a chapter he wrote for the book  A QUEER HISTORY OF FASHION: FROM THE CLOSET TO THE CATWALK (Yale University Press), recently published in conjunction with the exhibit this fall (see also my: QUEER FASHION blog post).

I just bought the book in the gift shop of the Brooklyn Museum after seeing the Jean-Paul Gaultier exhibit, which was unbelievably awe-inspiring and marvelous!

I am so delighted that I could contribute to this project and that my thoughts were valued enough to be published in such an extraordinary compilation of essays written by experts in both the LGBTQ & fashion communities.
